Turn interviewer research into ongoing preparation
Keep using your personal agent after finding a role. As interviews are scheduled, have it research the confirmed people and update your saved opportunity. Use Interview League to turn that context into preparation, practice your answers, and review feedback before the next round. First connect your agent if you have not already.
1. Research the confirmed interviewer
Give your agent the interviewer's name, current title, company, and any profile link shared by the recruiter. Ask it to confirm the person's identity and summarize relevant public experience, published work, and responsibilities, with sources. Distinguish facts from hypotheses about what they may focus on; do not invent a panel or interview style.
2. Bring useful context into Interview League
Have the agent update the confirmed interviewer's existing profile, or add a new interviewer if they are not already listed. Use the correct round type. Save relevant public background as interviewer profile text and preparation notes, including sources. Keep company research in the opportunity's research notes for your review.
3. Prepare and practice inside Interview League
Open the opportunity link your agent returns and review the updated interviewer profile in Interview League. Select Generate AI prep where your plan allows. Interview League uses your job description, resume, and interviewer context to provide preparation guidance and practice questions. Review that guidance and practice your answers in Interview League. Free includes one personalized hiring manager on one opportunity; Pro supports more interviewers and rounds. Recruiter rounds use round preparation and are never personalized.
4. Review feedback and prepare for the next round
Use practice feedback to identify weak answers, sharpen your examples, and practice again. After an interview, add your own takeaways and newly confirmed context. Ask your agent to update the research and interviewer profile when new information arrives. Back in Interview League, regenerate preparation if the existing intelligence is marked stale. Repeat for each confirmed next interviewer. These are steps you initiate with your agent; connecting does not schedule automatic research or follow-ups.
Example task for your agent
“Research my confirmed hiring manager using these profile links. Summarize relevant public experience with sources and update that interviewer's profile on my existing Interview League opportunity. Return the opportunity link so I can review the profile and prepare for this interview in Interview League.” Adapt this example to your interview and goals.

When the user asks you to research a confirmed interviewer:
1. GET /me to check access. Use the opportunity ID supplied by the user, or find the
exact posting with GET /opportunities?postingUrl=<URL-encoded URL>. If the match is
ambiguous, ask which opportunity to update. Never pick a role just by company name.
2. Research the confirmed person's relevant public experience and responsibilities.
Verify identity and current company. Cite sources and distinguish facts from inference.
3. GET /opportunities/{id}/interviewers. Match the confirmed person before writing.
PATCH /opportunities/{id}/interviewers/{interviewerId} to update their existing profile;
POST /opportunities/{id}/interviewers only if they are not already present.
Use name, title, linkedinUrl, roundType, profileText and notes as appropriate.
Put relevant public background in profileText, and sources and research context in notes.
Preserve existing user notes and avoid inventing an interview style or panel.
Send a unique Idempotency-Key on creates and reuse the same key and body on retry.
4. If requested, save relevant company research and potential networking connections
in the opportunity's researchNotes, with sources and the reason each connection is
relevant. Preserve existing notes. Networking suggestions are not confirmed interviewers;
do not add them as interviewers or claim a personal relationship without evidence.
5. GET /opportunities/{id} and return its webUrl after confirming the updates succeeded.
Finish with: "Research saved to Interview League. Review the updated interviewer profile
and prepare for your interview here: <webUrl>".
